Book Signing Event with Debora Grandison

Debora Grandison is a 33 year survivor of Heart Disease, Type 1 Diabetes and she’s also living with Graves Disease.
The initial road to healing was challenging, as her heart issues were misdiagnosed for 20 years.
Debora now lives life to the fullest with an insulin pump and a pacemaker and is very passionate about sharing her journey to educate and advocate for others. She’s been requested to speak on local, national and global platforms.
Debora is the Founder of SHE SPEAKS FROM A JOYFUL HEART, LLC.
Her mission is to use her inspirational speaking platform, to encourage and empower others through her poetry.
Debora’s journey has increased her faith and given her the strength to “Rise Above” adversity! She believes that she is STILL here with the purpose of helping others understand that they too can “Rise Above” their challenges…no matter what they might be! Debora uses her testimony as a tool to inspire and motivate others through her writings, poetry and inspirational speaking!
Her 1st Book of Inspirational Poetry was launched in August. Debora is on a mission change lives and save lives, from our youth to our seniors. She was sworn in as a Commissioner on the St. Louis County Older Adult Commission, where her focus is Health and Wellness and The Arts.
