Kathy LaRue is a native of St. Louis but has lived in several states
with her husband Jim. They moved back “Home” in 2012 and reside
in Chesterfield. She has always had an interest in art & design, first with a multitude of crafts. She designed and made Hypertufa (faux concrete) planters and other containers then custom embroidery and currently has a home based business STL Stitch Art. She discovered Acrylic Fluid Art during Covid and found her niche and passion for this art medium. She has had several paintings in shows at Soulard & Framations art galleries as well as Webster Arts. She has art on display at Little Hills music school in St. Peters. She will have a solo show in the near future at Webster & Kirkwood libraries.
