Megan Florine– My work is rooted in the simple yet powerful combination of vintage magazines and an X-Acto knife. For over five years, I’ve explored this medium, finding endless inspiration in the act of cutting, arranging, and reshaping fragments of the past. Each piece begins with the thrill of opening old magazines and imagining how those forgotten visuals can be reimagined in a new narrative. My creativity stems purely from imagination, guided by instinct rather than rules. I love the tension between nostalgia and newness, between what once was and what could be. Through collage, I create a dialogue between eras, blending the familiar with the unexpected.
